Washington DC Nightlife Guide
Washington DC's nightlife has shed its stiff government-town reputation to reveal a genuinely exciting bar and club scene driven by a young, diverse, and internationally connected population. Adams Morgan is the most consistently lively neighbourhood any night of the week, with a strip of bars and clubs that range from dive bars to dance clubs. The U Street Corridor, once home to Duke Ellington and the heart of DC's jazz culture, now hosts some of the city's most creative bars and live music venues. 14th Street and Logan Circle have the highest concentration of sophisticated cocktail bars, while the Georgetown waterfront has a more collegiate but lively scene.
